Go on Tim!

Congratulations to The Joint Action Marathon Team 2012 who completed their Marathon efforts in April 2012.

Orthopaedic consultants  David Limb  and John Waite ran the London Marathon on the 22nd of April, while Wrightington's own Tim Board completed the Manchester Marathon the following week.

Battling against torrential rain with 5,000 other mad runners, Tim completed the Marathon on a personal best  time of 3 hours 41 minutes, which was 30 minutes faster than his previous time.

The runners are dedicating the run and all sponsorships made to the Joint Action charity ( the research appeal of The British Orthopaedic Association) who provide funding for imperative research into Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery.
